When I reflect on the last few years of my career, one word comes to mind: transformation.
Not just for me personally, but for Adikteev–the company I’ve had the privilege of helping grow, support, and evolve. Let me take you behind the scenes.
After more than 15 years working in large multinational corporations, I felt the need for a new challenge. Something that would get me closer to the action. I wanted to move from corporate to a company in its peak growth phase. Something fast-paced, and more personal. That’s when Adikteev caught my attention.
In 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, I joined the company. Not physically, of course. Like many who changed jobs during this time, I was onboarded virtually, navigating new systems, new people, and new ambitions all through a screen. It wasn’t until nearly a year later that I finally met colleagues in person. Despite the distance, the energy and drive of the company were palpable.
Two main things:
The size and scale: As a scale-up, Adikteev offered the agility and creativity I’d been craving.
The strategic needs: My experience in recruitment, building HR frameworks, and due diligence was exactly what Adikteev needed.
Though I joined informally in 2020, I officially took on the Chief HR Officer role in 2022. By then, the vision for what is now our reality was clear: support Adikteev’s growth by doubling the number of employees by 2025. This would require more than just hiring; we needed a solid foundation of HR processes, policies, and culture to support this scale.
That brings me to one of the most rewarding parts of my role: working with ChooseMyCompany. We decided early on to pursue external accreditation as a good employer. As a small company at the time, we debuted at position #58, which was a very respectable start.
But we knew we could do better. So we launched a wide range of initiatives focused on:
Some of the initiatives we rolled out included:
These changes resonated across the organization. Our employees became the loudest advocates, which made all the difference. The following year, we climbed to position #12. Today, I’m proud to say we’re ranked #3.
In short: critical. It’s one thing for leadership to champion policies, but it’s another for employees to genuinely support and promote the culture we’re building. That’s been the true engine behind our progress. Change is important, but belief is transformative.
In late 2024, I made a big move–literally. I relocated to California, with full support from Adikteev. With this move came an exciting new challenge: in addition to my role as CHRO, I took on a second hat as Managing Director of our U.S. branch office.
Every day brings a new challenge and a new learning opportunity. While my background is in HR, stepping into a more operational and commercial role has allowed me to better understand our products, our customers, and our challenges.
Will I transition fully into the business side one day? I don’t know yet. But I’m enjoying this learning stage.
Moving to California has been both exciting and welcoming. I’ve lived and worked in several countries, so the transition was smoother than expected. That said, I deeply value the opportunity to travel back to Europe regularly.
We still have a lot of work to do as we continue to scale and evolve. Whether it's recruiting top talent, supporting our international teams, or expanding in the U.S., I remain committed to building a company where people feel supported, valued, and motivated to do their best work.
If you're considering joining the Adikteev family, I encourage you to check out our open roles. We’d love for you to join us in building something great.
